Journeyman Electrician

Pay: $34–$40+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications

We’re looking for a journeyman electrician who takes ownership of their work, thinks ahead, and treats customers well. At Cannon Electric, you’ll work on residential service calls, remodels, and small commercial projects in and around Watertown. You’ll be home each night, and your travel time to and from jobs is paid.
We care about doing the job right and being easy for customers to work with. If you’re the kind of electrician who notices a problem, solves it, and leaves the job better than you found it, we’d like to meet you.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems in homes and small commercial buildings
- Handle service calls and projects with limited supervision
- Plan your work, communicate what you need, and keep jobs moving
- Explain findings and options clearly to customers
- Work safely, follow code, and take pride in clean, reliable installations
- Help less experienced electricians learn and improve
What we’re looking for
- Journeyman electrician license
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with residential electrical work
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Professional communication with customers and coworkers
- A valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
